Add a touch of adventure as you hop on a quad bike, driving across rocky plains and past small villages – the perfect, memorable end to your time in Morocco.

Day 1 – Welcome to Morocco

After a flight of around four hours, you’ll arrive in Marrakech, where a driver will be waiting to take you to your riad-style hotel in the heart of the city. This small-scale stay offers simple, atmospheric rooms and a rooftop terrace – perfect for unwinding after your journey – and is just a short walk from the famous Djemaa el Fna square. Once settled, head out to explore the medina, wandering through narrow streets lined with colourful shops and local workshops, before making your way to the square in the evening as it comes alive with food stalls and street performers. Grab a seat at one of the busy stalls and enjoy the lively mix of locals and travellers – always a good sign you’ve found a great spot.

Day 2 – Exploring Marrakech with your guide

After breakfast, head into the old town with a local guide and discover Marrakech through its flavours, close to the lively Djemaa el-Fna square. During this relaxed food tour, you’ll stop at several small spots to taste what the city really eats – from warm pastries and a bowl of harira soup to freshly baked msemen with honey and cheese, market olives and sweet mint tea. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even try babbouche, traditional Moroccan snails. Along the way, your guide shares stories about daily life and food culture, making this a warm and personal introduction to the city, full of local encounters.

Day 3 – Free day in Marrakech

Today is yours to spend as you like in Marrakech. Wander through the medina, browse the souks or find a rooftop terrace for coffee or lunch with views over the city. For a slower start, visit a traditional hammam or simply settle in at Djemaa el-Fna with a fresh orange juice and watch daily life unfold. Fancy heading further afield? You can opt for a day trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls in the Middle Atlas, where, after a scenic three-hour drive, you’ll explore trails with a guide past Berber grain mills and along impressive cascades dropping nearly 100 metres into green pools – with the chance to spot Barbary monkeys along the way. Enjoy lunch by the water, take a refreshing dip if you like, and return to Marrakech by late afternoon. Let us know if you’d like to add this excursion.

Day 4 –From the city to the desert

Today you leave the buzz of Marrakech behind and head into the unique landscape of the Agafay Desert. On arrival at your comfortable desert camp, it’s time to slow down – unwind with a massage, pick up a book or simply soak up the peace and wide-open surroundings. As the sun sets, the rocky desert shifts into warm golden tones, setting the scene for a relaxed evening. A traditional dinner is served under the open sky, and with little light around, the stars put on a show of their own. Afterwards, follow a softly lit path back to your tent for a truly memorable night in the desert.

Day 5 – Quad biking through the rocky desert

Today it’s time for some action as you hop on a quad bike and head out into the rocky landscapes of the Agafay Desert. Together with a guide, you’ll spend a couple of hours driving across gravel plains and over stone hills, with wide-open views that feel almost lunar – a very different scene from the Sahara’s sand dunes. It’s fast-paced, a little dusty and bumpy in places, but all part of the fun, with regular stops to take in the scenery and snap a few photos. Back at camp, the pace slows right down and the rest of the day is yours to unwind – stretch out by the pool, find a shady spot with a book or sip tea as you look back on the day’s adventure in this peaceful desert setting.

    Day 6 –Departure from Morocco

Wake up to the quiet of the desert and start your day with a relaxed breakfast at the camp, taking in the wide-open views one last time. After a slow morning, it’s time to pack up and leave the Agafay behind. A driver will take you back towards Marrakech, with the landscape gradually shifting from rocky plains to the busier outskirts of the city. Depending on your flight time, you may have a final glimpse of Marrakech before arriving at the airport for your journey home.
